Bernard
Wrigley’s face is well known in virtually every household in Britain, due to
his many TV appearances including Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Wood &
Walters and Dinner Ladies. He has also appeared in many films including the
classic Brassed Off. However, there is so much more to the ‘Bolton Bullfrog’
than simply being a good actor. He is a fine guitarist and concertina player and
writes and performs extremely funny songs, including the songs the ‘Ballad of
Knocking Nellie and ‘Dixie’s Dog’. You won’t enjoy Bernard Wrigley if
you don’t like laughing.
