On December 30th 2000 Dan Shalloe made contact. He is also descended from this family and added some valuable data to the collection* - sadly neither of us can go back any further!

(1) Anthony Harrison: b. c. 1751 and bur. 21.3.1831 St Cuthberts (M.I.)
married Ann Adamson 16.12.1814 St Cuthberts.
(The M.I. is badly eroded and Ann's details are obscured).

George Harrison:bap. 14.8.1817 St Cuthberts

The graves of Anthony Harrison (1) left and Anthony Harrison and Mary Harper (2) right in Billingham Churchyard (picture taken in 1987) to the left of these graves is a broken memorial base to Thomas, Grace and Ethel Harrison (4) and next to them is a stone to Eleanor Lough died January 13th 1862 aged 66. Our family bible was originally owned by an Eleanor Lough (must be the same one) and her name and the date Dec. 2nd 1857 is inscribed on the first page. She must have passed it to Ann Harrison who, over the years, faithfully entered all the details of her growing family and the deaths of her parents.
