About Geraint's Art - Entouor l'art d'Geraint

Geraint Jennings is 35 years old and was born in Jersey in 1966. He has exhibited in Jersey, Russia and the UK, and his works are represented in public and private collections in a number of countries, including Russia, France, Belgium, Japan, USA and Canada. Closer to home, he contributed to "Heritage", the inaugural exhibition for the new Jersey Museum building; has organized "happenings"in Jersey; and has combined his artistic skills, teaching interests and concerns for local history by producing books on local history for children (with words by Sonia Hillsdon). Titles published: Gorey Castle, Elizabeth Castle, Jersey Long Ago, German Soldiers in Jersey, Jersey's Sailors and Pirates, Jersey's Farmers and Their Fields, The Battle of Jersey, Who Runs Jersey?, Famous People in the Parishes and Strange Goings On in the Parishes. The Sea Was Their Fortune was published 1997 by Seaflower Press. Latest illustration work is Now What? and The Mystery of the Cave, both published 1999. Currently working on an illustrated children's ABC

I have organized an Open Studio Weekend for the Jersey International Festival, designed a community mural for the North East Residents Association, made some pieces for the new Jersey Maritime Museum, and designed the 125th anniversary exhibition for the Société Jersiaise.
