The Discover Scuba Diving Course is similar to that
of the Discover Scuba programme in that it allows participants
to experience scuba diving under direct instructor
supervision in ideal conditions.
The programme differs however in that participants
will be required to demonstrate mastery of specific
information, concepts and scuba motor skills both in
the classroom and confined water before undertaking
an open water dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres.
Again this course is ideal for those considering the
Open Water Diver Course. Confined Water Dive 1 and
the Discover Scuba Diving Water Skills Introduction
and Development session are identical, as are the Discover
Scuba Diving Tour and the Open Water Dive 1. Therefore,
both may be credited to the Open Water Diving Course.
Participants must be 12 years of age or older.
