Project Office

The Engineering Department does not have the resources to carry out some types of work. For instance, there will always be the need for major structural upgrades. In these instances, it is necessary to use the equipment and labour force of outside contractors.

When an outside contractor is used, there must be a central point of co-ordination to draught the plans for the desired restructuring or building, and to ensure that the work being carried is exactly to plan.

Sixties Wing

High on top of the Sixties Wing sits Robin Ward, which has just undergone a much needed facelift internally together with outside repairs and redecoration including re-roofing. Below are Le Quesne Ward, the Critical Care Unit (CCU) and the main Operating Theatres. Out of view is Accident and Emergency and the Theatre Sterilising Supplies Unit (TSSU).
