Westaway Court is comprised of three blocks of flats and rooms providing
accommodation for medical staff. These buildings have central disposal
chutes which fill bins at the bottom. These bins have to be taken from
beneath the chutes and pulled to the roadside by an Engineering Department
labourer twice a week for collection.
Westaway Court residential accommodation
Once again, teamwork in the Labour Pool is essential so that the Hospital
can function as smoothly as possible. Each labourer needs to know what
others are doing so that in times of sickness or holidays, essential routine
tasks are not left undone.
