It is quite possible that people could pass through the Hospital and
not realise the amount of time and effort which goes into keeping everyday
things - like water, heat and air - flowing normally.
Inside the fitters shop
The fitters in the Hospital Engineering Department are also qualified
plumbers who carry out general plumbing duties, but Hospital Engineering
fitters must also train in - and become fully acquainted with - certain
specialised areas.
