Sponsorship Opportunities

Being associated with the re-creation of history is an exciting opportunity for individuals and companies alike.

Corporate sponsorship is available at £10,000 per year and entitles the sponsor to be associated with Canopus and all her appearances. By arrangement, the sponsor may entertain corporate guests on board the aeroplane throughout the display season.

We are also looking for ten sponsors who will contribute in excess of £20,000. They will enjoy all the benefits outlined above but these major sponsors will have their corporate logos carried on the nose of the aeroplane and on all accompanying literature and merchandising.

The benefits of being a sponsor will be very great. There has already been considerable interest from the aviation press and we expect the story to be picked up by the national media when Canopus is moved to Lasham later this year. The restoration project will feature in a six-part television documentary series provisionally entitled The Jet Age.

We hope to re-create part of the first jet passenger flight from London to Johannesburg on the fiftieth anniversary. There is no doubt that this will attract attention not only in the UK but right along the route.

Subsequently, Canopus will appear at airshows all over Europe to be seen by an estimated 250,000 people every year.
